Description
"The Old Crossing at Lovers Leap"
Lovers Leap Iron Bridge, New Milford, Connecticut, USA
Built in 1895, the Lovers Leap Bridge over the Housatonic River was one of the early iron bridge designs that supplanted wooden covered bridges throughout Connecticut during the late 1800s and early 1900s.
It is seen here cloaked in an exquisite, ghostly mist that clung to the Housatonic gorge on this particular morning in early autumn.

So much mood is expressed here. Love the fog.
JG Coleman replied:
Many thanks, Marianne! It always a privilege to experience these dream-like landscapes; it's always a welcome creative challenge to express the same mood in a photograph.
