A lone barn painted with the American Flag stands proudly atop a rocky ledge just beyond an old fieldstone wall. Diplomat Caleb Cushing (1800-1879) once said: "Men of New England, I hold you to the doctrines of liberty which ye inherit from your Puritan forefathers."
